Manager Associate General Counsel, Physician Contracting

Overview: The Manager Associate General Counsel (Manager) role serves as legal counsel for Novant Health, Inc. and its related corporate entities with responsibility for legal matters, risk management and compliance issues related to transactions with physicians and/or physician groups. The Manager manages entire groups of corporate entities in regard to legal counsel, risk management, and compliance related to transactions. The Manager leads the projects, processes and resources needed for each entity of responsibility with limited supervision and makes recommendations and follows through to the completion of all projects within their group(s). The Manager mentors and supports Associate General Counsel role. Qualifications: <ul> <li><b>Education: </b>Undergraduate degree from a recognized college or university, required. Juris Doctorate Degree from an accredited law school, required.</li> <li><b> Experience: </b>5 years experience in the Practice of Law, required.</li> <li><b> Licensure/Certification: </b>Admission to the bar of at least one state or the District of Columbia, required.</li> <li><b> Additional Skills (required): </b>Knowledge of both clinical medicine and hospital operations and management. Skills for problem solving, teamwork, and developing innovative solutions. Excellent communication skills required. Ability to handle unusual, demanding and unrelated tasks, supervise and develop others in their performance. Strong organizational skills.
