Mid-Level Litigation Associate

Beveridge & Diamond, P.C. seeks a candidate with three to five years of experience to join our firm at one of our seven offices. The ideal candidate must have substantive litigation experience, with a desire to become a leader in cases involving challenging legal and expert environmental issues. All candidates should have a strong academic background, excellent written and oral communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Candidates must have the following qualifications: J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school with excellent academic credentials. Status as an active member in good standing of the bar in at least one state jurisdiction and the ability to obtain licensure in the District of Columbia within 6 months of hire. Experience with, or demonstrated interest in, the major environmental statutes, such as the Clean Air Act, the Clean Water Act, the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, and CERCLA. Strong analytical, research, writing, and oral communication skills. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, ability to work well under deadlines, and ability to assume significant client responsibilities. Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
