Carlton Fields is seeking an associate with three to seven years of litigation experience for its Washington, DC office. Excellent academic credentials and strong writing skills are required. Law Review or federal clerkship experience is a plus. Knowledge of insurance products, annuities, securities, or other financial products is a plus but not required. Candidates should be admitted to practice in Washington, DC, Virginia, or Maryland, or must apply for admission to the DC bar. The ideal candidate would have experience working on complex matters in federal court, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team in an environment where drive and client service are top priorities. The candidate should be interested in working on complex matters for sophisticated business clients as part of a national practice.
