## **
The Role**
The Vice President and Associate General Counsel manages the legal processes
and risks associated with the Company’s real estate acquisitions, development,
redevelopment, construction, and other transactional real estate activities.
The VP has a proven ability to operate independently and provide leadership in
legal matters.
* Provides legal counseling and advice on structuring and documentation of real estate acquisitions, dispositions, developments, redevelopments, and construction.
* Reviews and comments on a wide array of real estate transactional documents relating to the business of the company.
* Manages and provides counsel relating to disputes and litigation arising out of the Company’s development, construction, and ownership activities (other than matters relating to residential tenants).
* Maintains and updates form documents used by the transactional real estate functions within the company.

* Juris Doctor required

Experience:_
* At least eight years of relevant experience required
* Experience managing litigation

* Possesses in-depth knowledge of commercial real estate transaction structuring and documentation.
* Expresses complex thoughts and analysis through clear and concise written communications
