The incumbent serves as an attorney advisor to the Office of Civil Rights (OCR) Director and as the EEO Complaints Manager for complaints filed pursuant to 29 C.F.R. Part 1614, Sections 504 and 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, and CFPB policy and procedures (the EEO complaint process).</p> <p> Learn more about this agency</p> <div> <h4 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Responsibilities</b></h4> <p>As a Supervisory Attorney-Adviser (EEO Complaints Manager), you will:</p> <p> Serve as a legal expert on all matters pertaining to OCR's EEO complaint processes. Review EEO complaints filed with the Bureau to determine the appropriate course of action pursuant to 29 C.F.R. Part 1614 and related laws and guidance.</p> <p> Direct the operations and activities of the team of individuals within OCR responsible for processing EEO informal and formal complaints under 29 C.F.R. Part 1614 and arising under the Equal Pay Act of 1963, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1967, Section 501 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, and the Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act of 2008, as well as complaints filed against the Bureau under Sections 504 and 508 of the Rehabilitation Act and relevant Executive Orders (e.g., E.O. 11478, as amended by E.O. 13087, E.O. 13152, and E.O. 13672, and Executive Order 13145).</p> <p> Serve as first-line supervisor for and direct and monitor the work of EEO specialists (including informal and formal case managers), OCR attorneys involved in case processing, and other OCR employees, as assigned. Ensure assigned OCR staff members</p> <p> effectively manage their individual caseloads and workloads, produce necessary work products of requisite quality, and meet all statutory and regulatory timeframes (e.g., under 29 C.F.R.
