About Us: Hancock Daniel is seeking an associate with 2-5 years of experience to join its commercial litigation and insurance coverage team in the Richmond office. As a mid-sized law firm, we offer a unique opportunity for a lateral associate who wants to perform high level legal work as a member of a collegial, hardworking team. This team litigates a wide variety of complex business disputes for our healthcare and insurance clients. In this position, you will be part of the team and immediately immersed into case leadership and significant hands-on responsibility. You will do this with guidance from highly qualified attorneys and will be expected to provide client-ready work-product and participate in the development and execution of legal strategy from start to finish of every matter. About You: • You are a smart, driven attorney seeking to learn and grow in a team environment. • You are a litigator with at least 2 years’ experience in litigation. • You possess excellent writing, research, and analytical skills, along with a keen attention to detail. • You have a strong academic record and a law degree. • You have a maniacal focus on excellent client service and a passion for the practice of law. • You are admitted to practice in Virginia.
