Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton LLP is seeking a 3–5 year Labor & Employment Associate Attorney to join our Los Angeles office. This position is based in the Los Angeles (Downtown) office. There is only one position. Sheppard Mullin is a global Am Law 50 full-service law firm with over 1,000 attorneys across 16 offices worldwide. We are currently recruiting for an outstanding associate with 3-5 years of employment litigation experience, including single plaintiff actions involving claims of harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and other areas of California labor & employment law. Our L&E practice group prides itself on employing attorneys who can take ownership of matters, with experience in all stages of litigation. The ideal candidate should excel in the following areas: • Strong litigation experience • Trial experience • Taking and defending depositions • Researching, writing, and arguing motions • Conducting complex fact investigations and analysis • Ability to take ownership of cases with minimal oversight Resume, cover letter, and law school transcript are required to apply.
