The Atlanta office of Barnes & Thornburg LLP seeks a Bankruptcy Associate. Applicants should have one (1) to four (4) years of commercial litigation experience; preferably some bankruptcy experience, though not required. A law course in bankruptcy and an interest in bankruptcy, however, is needed. Additional experience or a degree in finance, business or banking would be a plus as would Federal Clerkship experience. Candidates must be licensed or be able to waive into Georgia, and should demonstrate outstanding writing, research, and analytical skills as well as strong academic credentials. The ideal candidate will also be highly motivated to be part of an active practice, demonstrate initiative, an ability to assume responsibility for client matters, as well as the interpersonal skills to work well as part of a collaborative team.
