Share Bressler, Amery & Ross, a dynamic and rapidly growing law firm with a national practice, seeks a Paralegal for its’ NYC office. The Paralegal will be assigned to support Principals and Associates in the Financial Institutions Practice Group. Hours are 9:00 am – 5:00 pm with a one-hour lunch break, Monday through Friday. Essential Duties Performing legal research. Gathering and analyzing of documents assembled in discovery and from clients. Prepare and file state registration documents Assist with arbitration/trial scheduling, and preparation and hearings. Prepare and file SEC documents with the SEC and FINRA. Manage substantial caseload. Interact with firm personnel, outside counsel, and external vendors. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Education Minimum of 3 years of experience required. Securities arbitration/litigation experience preferred. Strong knowledge of federal and state securities law, SEC and FINRA. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Strong analytical skills. Familiarity with document management systems is desirable. Highly proficient in Microsoft Office. A minimum of a 4-year college degree or relevant work equivalent.
