POSITION OVERVIEW Bernstein Shur is seeking an associate to join our Energy and Environmental Group in its Portland, Maine office. Bernstein Shur’s Energy and Environmental Group has a national practice, regularly advising parties on complex energy transactions, energy project development, energy project financing (including tax increment financing and tax projections), as well as the legal and practical implications of various state and federal policy initiatives. Our Energy and Environment team integrates the commercial transactional elements of project development with the complex overlay of federal and state environmental and energy regulation, and has a robust regional practice. The ideal candidate will possess 2-5 years of experience.
