<p><b> THE POSITION:</b><br> <b>Our roster has an opening with your name on it</b></p>
<p> Our roster has an opening with your name on it. The Associate will be a key member of a fantastic team of compliance professionals in FanDuel's State Regulatory Compliance (SRC) team. The Associate will report to a Counsel, Senior Manager and will (among other duties) assist in investigating and responding to customer complaints submitted to FanDuel by state gaming regulators.</p>
<p> The ideal candidate for this role began his or her career in the compliance function of a highly regulated financial institution or as a paralegal or analyst at a law firm or law enforcement agency and has a passion for sports.</p>
<p> Experience working for an internet, technology and/or media company, or with such companies, is a plus. That said, superior analytical, strategic, communication, and interpersonal skills are of paramount importance, as is a strong work ethic, attention to detail, a commitment to being a team player, and an aptitude to learn quickly the nuances of the internet, technology and media businesses. Other duties may include:</p>

<li>Analyzing documents and emails and preparing timelines related to investigations</li>
<li>Reviewing and summarizing policies and procedures</li>
<li>Coordinating meetings</li>
<li>Preparing presentations for regulators and internal stakeholders</li>
<li>Working with other business units to confirm or clarify facts for investigations.</li>
<li>Summarizing investigations for internal stakeholders</li>
</ul>

<li>Tracking Incident Reports</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Drafting preliminary incident reports</li>
<li>Managing SRC responsibilities related to prohibited play, including report drafting and tracking</li>
</ul>

<li>Perform reconciliation and execution of state reporting requirements in a timely manner</li>
<li>Gather information and documentation to be provided in response to or in relation to regulator inquiries while maintaining required confidentiality</li>
<li>Support operational reporting and tracking and other metrics that can be effectively used in risk-based reporting for senior management</li>
<li>Assist in design and initial implementation of new state/new product compliance procedures</li>
<li>Execute compliance-related procedures and maintain auditable documentation</li>
<li>Provide advisory services about state regulatory obligations to internal stakeholders</li>
</ul>

<li>Minimum 3 years working in the compliance function of a highly regulated financial institution or the equivalent</li>
<li>Experience working at a law firm, or in law enforcement or investigations a plus</li>
<li>Demonstrated aptitude for application of critical thinking to process execution, including identification of process improvements</li>
<li>Ability to communicate clearly and efficiently, both orally and via email</li>
<li>Passion to work hard in a fast-paced, start-up environment</li>

<p><i> The applicable hourly range for this position is $27.00 to $30.00 which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation.</i></p>
