Giving back allows us to improve public spaces where people connect, promote public safety and advance access to education and technology.</p> <p><b> Role</b></p> <p> Provide legal advice, counseling, and to training to business partners on issues related to customer contracts, service and vendor contracts, corporate matters, and/or other areas.</p> <p><b> Responsibilities</b></p> <ul> <li>Recognizes and evaluates legal risks associated with different business decisions and communicates those risks to peers and colleagues</li> <li>Able to communicate effectively in written and oral presentations</li> <li>Respond to legal inquiries, assisting Crown personnel with regard to legal issues as needed.</li> <li>Draft and review legal documents</li> <li>Assist in the interpretation of contract documents and in the resolution of disputes related to contract terms</li> <li>Assist on special projects; involving initiation and execution of various projects related to training</li> <li>Draft and review service contracts; involving support for negotiation and preparation of service contracts pursuant to which Crown provides services to customers.</li> <li>Draft and review vendor contracts; involving preparation of and revisions to standard forms for use with vendors providing services to Crown.</li> <li>Serve as the legal liaison to an Area, Region, or Corporate functional department.</li> </ul> <p><b>Education/Certifications</b></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s Degree</li> <li>Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school</li> <li>Attorney’s License</li> </ul> <p><b> </b><b>Experience/Minimum Requirements</b></p> <ul> <li>Seven (7) or more years of related legal experience, four years preferred.</li> <li>Experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating customer contracts, service and vendor contracts.</li> </ul> <p><b> </b><b>Expectations</b></p> <ul> <li>Thorough knowledge of legal research and writing techniques</li> <li>Basic knowledge of real estate, contract and business law</li> <li>Telecommunications experience useful</li> <li>Ability to work independently</li> <li>Ability to work with individuals of diverse background, personalities and opinions</li> <li>Ability to maintain confidentiality</li> <li>Working knowledge of MS Office</li> </ul> <p><b>Organizational Relationship</b></p> <p><b> Reports to:</b> Associate General Counsel or Managing Counsel</p> <p><b> Title(s) of direct reports (if applicable):</b> N/A</p> <p><b> Working Conditions:</b> This role falls into our hybrid work model working in the office on Monday through Thursday. On Fridays, teammates on the hybrid schedule will have the option to work from the office or home.
