Fox Rothschild LLP has an opening in multiple offices for a Counsel or Partner in our Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation Department. The ideal candidate will have at least ten years of relevant experience, working with ERISA, the Internal Revenue Code and other applicable employee benefits laws on matters involving qualified retirement plans, executive compensation, including nonqualified plans and equity compensation plans, and health and welfare benefits. In addition, ESOP transaction experience is preferred. Although not required, the candidate having a book of business is a plus. Experience with qualified retirement plans required. Experience with welfare plans required. Experience with nonqualified plans and execution compensation required. ESOP experience, particularly ESOP transaction experience preferred. Book of business a plus, but not required. Ability to build out a practice, with associate attorneys in the future. The salary range for this position applies to New York. The salary range reflects a variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to portable business, experience, education, licensure and/or certifications, geographic location, market demands and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for a position. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this position is $300,000 to $340,000.
