AM Law 200 Firm, Honigman LLP, is looking for a smart, highly motivated and organized self-starter with a commitment to legal excellence to join the Firm’s nationally recognized Intellectual Property (IP) team as a Trademark Litigation Associate. Honigman’s IP department is home to a team of leading intellectual property litigators. Our deep IP litigation experience includes plaintiff and defense side patent, trademark and unfair competition, copyright, and trade secret litigation, as well as experience with licensing and other contractual disputes, and enforcement of confidentiality and noncompetition agreements. We regularly represent our clients before federal and state courts, the USPTO, the U.S. International Trade Commission, foreign administrative agencies, and alternate dispute resolution forums. Conducting legal research; drafting briefs, memoranda, correspondence, examination outlines, and other relevant documents; Supporting trademark litigation practices in federal district courts and the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (“TTAB”); and At least 3 years of trademark and/or other IP litigation experience, preferably handling substantive trademark issues relating to infringement, validity, and enforceability; Licensed Illinois, Michigan or Washington D.C. attorney in good standing (or with ability to waive into one of these jurisdictions); Honigman provides compensation and comprehensive benefits including medical coverage and dental care programs, life and disability insurance, student loan refinancing and consolidation services, open/flexible vacation policy, a 401(k) plan, generous paid parental leave, workstyle support, and wellbeing programs.
