Orrick’s Capital Markets team is seeking an Associate with two to four years of experience in equity and/or debt capital markets to join our dynamic and innovative legal team. The successful candidate can be based in any of our Boston, New York, San Francisco, or Seattle offices. Our Capital Markets team focuses on capital raising solutions for innovators in the technology sector. We serve many of Orrick’s 4,000+ tech and life sciences companies, guiding them from IPO through operating as public company and beyond. We also advise leading investment banks, venture capital funds and institutional investors in public equity and debt capital markets transactions. The ideal candidate will have major law firm experience, a strong commitment to excellent client service, and significant experience in public securities offerings, including both equity and debt. Strong interpersonal skills and a motivated, entrepreneurial outlook are essential. Candidates must also possess excellent academic credentials, superior communication and organizational skills, and Bar membership in the state where they wish to practice. Compensation and Benefits The expected salary range for this position is between $235,000 and $310,000. Orrick is committed to providing a comprehensive, competitive, and thoughtful total compensation package to our attorneys and staff, wherever they work. This compensation and benefits information is based on the Orrick’s estimate as of the date of publication and may be modified in the future. The level of pay within the range will depend on a variety of job-related factors that may include, but not limited to, qualifications, relevant experience or education, particular skills or expertise, geography. Other compensation may include an annual discretionary merit bonus, which would be determined by Firm and individual performance.
