Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton LLP, a global Am Law 50 firm, is seeking a partnership-track associate with 4-7 years of diverse transactional real estate experience. This position is based in Orange County. With one of the largest, most experienced, and diverse real estate and development practices in the country, Sheppard Mullin represents corporate owners, investors, retailers, developers, builders, major landowners, lenders and local agencies on every aspect of development. Our transactional attorneys negotiate the financing, purchase and sale of billions of dollars of properties of all asset types throughout the United States, Canada and Europe. They are dealmakers who understand both sides of a transaction and are able to craft solutions that meet clients’ financial and legal goals. The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications: Significant knowledge of all aspects of purchase and sale, borrower side financing and joint venture transactions. Robust experience in a real estate practice is required, preferably those from an established Big Law environment. The desire and ability to work with other team members and clients and "take ownership" of projects is essential. Top academic credentials, a proactive outlook, and outstanding analytical and time management skills are required. Candidates must be an active member of the California State Bar.
