Foley & Lardner LLP is seeking a mid-senior level associate to join its premier national Health Care Practice Group. We are open to filling the position in one of the following offices: Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, San Francisco, or Tampa. Our Health Care Practice Group represents health systems, telemedicine companies, and numerous diverse health care entities, as well as venture and private equity investors focused on health care and life sciences. Qualified candidates will possess 4-6 years of health care regulatory and/or transactional experience (though we will consider candidates with up to 8 years of experience), with particular emphasis on health-care focused clients, and will have significant knowledge of federal and state health care regulatory environments and their affect and interplay in health care transactions and day-to-day business matters affecting health care industry clients. The ideal candidate also will have sophisticated document drafting skills, the ability to manage complex projects and matters, and a willingness to train and mentor younger associates. We are seeking a well-rounded, dynamic, highly motivated associate, who has demonstrated an ability to thrive in a sophisticated practice and in a collegial environment, to assist with advancing the long-term strategic objectives of the Health Care Practice Group. AmLaw 100 experience preferred. Excellent academic credentials, writing and communication skills are required. The candidate should be comfortable with direct interaction with both senior partners and clients and have a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and an exceptional work ethic.
