Responsibilities and practice Dentons US LLP is seeking a junior associate to join our sophisticated Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice. Candidates should have 1-3 years of litigation experience, excellent academic credentials, and proven analytic ability. Ideal candidates will have extensive commercial litigation experience and some exposure to insurance litigation. Our associates work collaboratively with our partners and clients, and are key members of our team. Expected responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Working on all aspects of commercial litigation from inception through trials and appeals Conducting legal research and writing memoranda Drafting complex case evaluations and preparing briefs, pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents Conducting, propounding and responding to discovery (documents, written discovery, depositions) Working with clients, witnesses, experts and other counsel Pursuant with California law, the salary range for this position will be $225,000 - $260,000 based on experience.
