<b>Position Purpose</b> <p> This is a functional management position reporting to Erickson’s General Counsel. Emphasis in managing Erickson’s Trade Compliance Program to include development of Training Modules for Erickson employees world-wide and enhancing Erickson’s Audit Program. Manage and oversee all export authorizations to include the application, approval, and post approval processes. Provide accurate interpretation of applicable U.S. Export Regulations (EAR, ITAR, &amp; OFAC) as well as laws of receiving countries as it relates to Erickson’s business activities. Responsible for management of Erickson’s Trade Specialist and related day to day activities.</p> <p><b><br> Duties &amp; Responsibilities</b></p> <ul> <li> Develop, maintain, and ensure compliance with trade- related work instructions and procedures.</li> <li> Maintain Erickson’s ERP Trade Compliance Module which includes developing written procedures.</li> <li> Partner with Engineering to provide regulatory guidance in the export classification of new product developments.</li> <li> Communicate with Business Development on potential export licensing requirements depending on global business opportunities.</li> <li> Partner with Erickson’s Department of People in the managing of foreign employees and foreign visitor access controls required by U.S. Export Regulations.</li> <li> Engage Erickson’s IT Department to ensure the security of Erickson’s export-controlled information in accordance with U.S. Export Regulations.</li> <li> Fulfill as back up to Trade Specialist and be able to complete the day-to-day activities.</li> <li> Interface with regulatory agencies and prepare written submissions, including voluntary disclosures and requests for advisory opinions.</li> <li> Provide advice on compliance best-practices to other compliance functions within the Company.</li> </ul> <p></p> <p><b><br> Competencies</b></p> <p><b> Safety and Work Environment </b>– Identifies hazardous or potentially hazardous situations and takes appropriate action to maintain a safe and productive work environment for self and others. Proposes course of action that further the objectives, priorities and vision of organization.</p> <p><b><br> Minimum Qualifications</b></p> <ul> <li> Minimum of 7 – 10 years export compliance experience where depth of responsibilities expands across all levels of export compliance.</li> <li> Experience in accurately determining ECCN/USML, Schedule B, and HTSUS classifications utilizing internal and external resources available.</li> <li> As an Empowered Official, be proficient in the preparation, submission, and facilitation of the outcome of all U.S. Government agency applications, approvals, classification requests, disclosures, or any other regulatory communications submitted on behalf of Erickson.</li> <li> Proficient in ACE, DECCS, SNAP-R, and with all MS Office products.</li> </ul> <p><b> Education</b></p> <ul> <li> BA, MBA, JD, or equivalent experience.</li> </ul> <p></p>
