Job Summary and Qualifications HCA is looking for a Senior Counsel that will support HCA Physician Services with its day-to-day legal activities and other corporate departments and service lines as assigned. Senior Counsel will report to the Managing Operations Counsel and will work closely with Physician Services leadership. Responsibilities <ul> <li>Review, approve and manage physician and other contracts</li> <li>Provide counsel to Physician Services on regulatory issues and serve as a resource for the legal component of operational questions;</li> <li>Assist with ensuring awareness of and compliance with applicable laws and company policies and procedures</li> <li>Assist with the development of internal policies, procedures and forms;</li> <li>Collaborate with, and provide guidance and assistance to, other colleagues in the Legal Department;</li> <li>Work closely and collaboratively with Physician Services leadership; and</li> <li>Practice and adhere to the company’s “Code of Conduct” and Mission and Value Statement.”</li> </ul> Qualifications <ul> <li>Juris Doctorate (JD) from accredited law school & active membership in at least one state bar</li> <li>10+ years of experience in /as legal counsel</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Admission to the Tennessee bar</li> </ul> HCA Healthcare (Corporate), based in Nashville, Tennessee, supports a variety of corporate roles from business operations to administrative positions.
