The Fellowship runs for one year.</b></p> <p></p> <p><b> Please note, this is a 1-year Fixed-Term position.</b></p> <p></p> <div> <p> 1) Job Responsibilities:</p> <p></p> <p> Fellows will provide legal support to university clients primarily on USC’s Health Sciences Campus. Fellows will engage with a variety of legal issues related to health care, including health care regulatory compliance, contract review and processing, and health care litigation. The USC Health System’s breadth of operations presents a wide variety of opportunities and challenges, and Fellows are encouraged to pursue the work they find most interesting. Fellows will conduct legal research, interact directly with clients, and support clients on matters as they arise. Fellows are encouraged to work with several supervising attorneys so that they may fully experience the array of issues presented by the USC Health System.</p> <p></p> <p> 2) Qualities Desired in a Candidate:</p> <p></p> <p> A strong interest in health care law. Excellent communication and writing skills. Diligent and timely. Professional attitude and demeanor when dealing with clients and office staff. Knowledge of relevant federal, state and local laws and regulations. </div></div>
