Polsinelli is seeking a mid-level Associate to join our growing Private Equity Mergers & Acquisitions Practice. The role is open to our Dallas, Atlanta, Los Angeles, Denver, or San Francisco offices, with a preference for Dallas. Interested candidates should have excellent academic credentials, experience in a law firm or similar environment and superior writing, communication, and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of Private Equity and M&A experience, ideally gained at an AmLaw 100 or 200 firm, with a strong track record advising financial sponsors, portfolio companies, founders, and investors on complex transactions across a variety of industries. The ideal candidate will bring specific experience counseling clients in the health care services sector, including post-acute care, professional practices, and digital health, as well as exposure to joint ventures and emerging, innovative health care business models. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, exceptional writing and communication abilities, and the demonstrated capacity to manage transactions independently while working effectively within a collaborative team are essential. Familiarity with design thinking, jobs-to-be-done frameworks, disruptive innovation principles, and the integration of generative AI and legal technology into deal processes is a significant plus. You will join a dynamic, nationally recognized team of attorneys whose practice continues to grow in both scope and sophistication. We serve a broad range of innovative clients and take a collaborative, process-driven, and technology-enabled approach to M&A. A portion of our practice also focuses on emerging and evolving health care services models, including those incorporating AI-driven business design. The ability to navigate complex subject matter quickly and effectively is required, along with a desire to engage in cutting-edge work at the intersection of private equity, health care, and innovation.
