Labor and Employment Staff Attorney

Barnes & Thornburg LLP is looking for a Labor and Employment Staff Attorney for our Fort Wayne Office. In this role, you will be an integral part of our Labor and Employment practice and the Fort Wayne office. The position will entail assisting on labor and employment litigation matters, drafting answers and pleadings, handling discovery matters and document review, amongst other responsibilities. There may be an opportunity to work on some commercial litigation matters as well. Candidates should ideally have at least one year of litigation experience, and should also demonstrate outstanding writing, research, and analytical skills as well as strong academic credentials. Experience with EEOC, ADA, ADEA, FMLA, Title IX and / or employment claims such as discrimination, harassment, retaliation, terminations, employment agreements, etc. would be a plus. Candidates should also be admitted and in good standing with the Indiana bar or eligible to waive in. Candidates who have worked as a Judicial Law Clerk are encouraged to apply.
