The New Orleans office of Kaufman Dolowich, an AV-rated® firm designated one of the “Best Companies to Work For” among U.S. law firms by U.S. News & World Report, is seeking an hourly/contract Litigation Attorney with a minimum of 2 years of defense litigation experience. Labor and Employment or Commercial Litigation preferred. The candidate would be joining a growing, dynamic firm with more than 200 attorneys nationwide. Responsibilities: Manage a litigation caseload by working cases from inception through resolution. Handle extensive discovery practice, court appearances and depositions. Note: Remote work may be available depending on the need of the work assigned at the time. 2+ years of employment litigation and/or commercial litigation experience. JD from an ABA accredited Law School. Must be licensed to practice in Louisiana. Excellent academic credentials. Strong writing, research and communications skills . Must be organized and have the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
