Type of Experience: King & Spalding seeks a mid-level to senior associate for its Leveraged Finance practice in Chicago. Ideal candidates will have 5 - 7 years of experience counseling lenders, investors, borrowers and issuers in leveraged finance, asset-based lending, private placements, unitranche, first lien/second lien and mezzanine financings, and both leveraged and investment-grade lending transactions. Candidates should be self-starters with excellent client management skills, superior academic credentials, and previous large law firm experience. They should also be committed to fostering growth and a collaborative work environment, including mentoring and training junior associates.
