We are looking for motivated candidates with at least 3-7 years of experience in insurance coverage. The ideal candidate should have experience in drafting insurance coverage opinions related to the duty to defend and duty to indemnify, experience in declaratory judgment actions, conducting examinations under oath, and evaluating demands under the Stowers doctrine and its progeny. Experience in mediation as coverage counsel and working with carrier-appointed defense counsel is a plus. Must have experience working independently and with primary responsibility for coverage matters. Must have strong and persuasive written, oral and presentation skills. Excellent research skills is required. You must maintain good relationships with claims representatives and clients. You must exhibit strong work ethics, meet deadlines, and achieve results for the clients. The applicant must be in good standing with the Texas State Bar or similarly barred in another state.
