Type of Experience: King & Spalding seeks associates and counsel for its structured finance team in New York. Ideal candidates should have experience representing financial institutions as issuers, underwriters, borrowers, lenders, sellers, and/or purchasers in a variety of asset-backed securitization and structured lending transactions, but general capital markets and/or leveraged finance experience coupled with an interest in esoteric securitization also encouraged to apply. The practice focuses on matching business-focused structures with capital in connection with esoteric and first-of-their-kind transactions. Opportunities will include esoteric capital markets securitization (both capital markets issued and privately placed), with a particular focus on whole business, digital infrastructure and media royalty securitizations, and structured private credit facilities. Candidates should have superior academic credentials and previous large law firm experience.
