ABOUT THE ROLE: Parker Poe is seeking an Associate with 3-6 years of experience to join their Real Estate & Commercial Development Practice Group in Raleigh, North Carolina. The ideal candidate will have experience in real estate acquisition, development, financing, leasing and disposition, and in reviewing title and survey, obtaining title insurance, handling closings, and in drafting purchase and sale contracts, easement agreements, and declarations of restrictive covenants. Candidates must be licensed in North Carolina, have strong academic credentials, and possess excellent drafting skills. Prior experience in a sophisticated law firm practice is preferred. Our attorneys have a breadth of experience representing both lenders and borrowers in real estate financing projects, allowing our team to advise clients on all sides of a real estate transaction. The real estate transactions team at Parker Poe has bought, sold, leased, and developed millions of square feet of property and acres of land on behalf of client projects. We can handle a broad variety of deal sizes efficiently.
