<div id="jobDescriptionText" class="jobsearch-jobDescriptionText jobsearch-JobComponent-description css-kqe8pq eu4oa1w0"><div> <div> <b>Exoneration Justice Clinic Legal Fellow (Limited Term)</b> <br> <br> <b>University of Notre Dame</b> </div> <br> The University of Notre Dame (ND.jobs) is accepting applications for a <b>Exoneration Justice Clinic Legal Fellow (Limited Term)</b>. <br> <br> <b>Applications will be accepted until 03/11/2024.<br> </b> <br> <br> <div> The Notre Dame Law School is offering a Legal Fellow position in connection with the newly established Exoneration Justice Clinic. <br> <br> The Fellow will work as a member of the Exoneration Justice Clinic, investigating and litigating wrongful conviction cases. The Fellow will work under the direction of the Director and the Staff Attorney. The Fellow will work directly with students. He/she will be responsible for chairing the Intake Committee, which decides which cases will be accepted for legal representation by the Clinic. The position will also oversee the day-to-day activities of students investigating wrongful conviction cases. The Intern/Fellow will also work with students in drafting court pleadings seeking post-conviction relief. <br> <br> This is a limited term position for a maximum of 2-yrs. </div> <br> <b> Minimum Qualifications:</b> <br> <div> J.D. required. <br> Licensed attorney in Indiana, or be willing to take the Indiana bar exam at the first available opportunity </div> <br> <b> Preferred Qualifications:</b> <br> <div> Ideal candidate will have experience investigating and litigating wrongful convictions as either a law student or attorney. </div> <br> <b> ABOUT NOTRE DAME:</b> <br> The University of Notre Dame, founded in 1842 by Rev.
