This role involves ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, managing and refining the company’s privacy program, advising on AI legal and ethical considerations, and managing risks associated with information security.</b></h2> <h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b> What You'll be Doing: </b></h2> <ul> <li>Provides legal advice to designated Business areas including:</li> <li> Advise executives, leaders and management on the impact of legal considerations on business decisions.</li> <li> Interpret and provide counsel to internal business and functional partners regarding contractual obligations and requirements of applicable law and regulations.</li> <li> Review, analyze and negotiate complex commercial agreements related to assigned business area.</li> <li> To the extent relevant to assigned business area, develop legal strategies and planning in response to commercial issues or disputes and bring resolution to the same, including litigation management; work closely with business partners to negotiate and resolve these matters.</li> <li> Review, analyze and respond to inquiries from regulatory authorities and their agents in areas of assigned responsibility.</li> <li> Monitor and maintain awareness of pending and existing legislation, regulations and legal developments that are relevant to the Enterprise’s interests and operations.</li> <li> Assist intra-department and cross-functional Team members in designing and implementing legally and regulatory compliant, operational systems, processes and procedures.</li> <li> Engage and manage outside counsel, as needed.</li> <li> This job profile is not meant to be all inclusive of the responsibilities of this position; may perform other duties as assigned or required.</li> </ul> <p></p> <p><b> What You Bring With You (Qualifications): </b></p> <ul> <li>Juris Doctorate degree from an ABA-accredited law school- and BAR Admission.</li> <li> 5+ years of experience as a practicing attorney in a law firm or in-house legal department.</li> <li> Depending on assigned business area, additional technical knowledge and subject expertise will be required from the prospective team member</li> <li> Ability to write and speak clearly and concisely; detail-oriented.</li> <li> Ability to generate accurate, quality work product quickly as required by first assistant or members of assign business area. </li> <li>Ability to effectively research and determine how new or revised laws or regulations will impact assigned business areas and provide corresponding advice and counsel.</li> <li> Ability to instill confidence and interact with colleagues at all levels in the enterprise in a positive and professional manner aligned with the organization’s culture.</li> </ul> </div></div>
