The position will be in Denver and report to the General Counsel of the Ares real assets group. This position will support general corporate needs across the real assets group, including related to infrastructure, real estate, and alternative credit. These needs include contract review and management, transactional support across the capital stack, asset management support, and various issues related to a unique 1031 exchange program. The Ares Legal team is responsible for advising on a wide range of legal matters as the Ares Legal team guides Ares' business through an evolving and complex financial, legal, and regulatory environment across the multiple jurisdictions in which we operate. The ideal candidate will work directly with senior investment professionals as well as the broader Ares Legal department, Finance &amp; Accounting, Tax, and Compliance departments. While this role is a general corporate role, familiarity, and experience with legal matters relevant to real estate is helpful, but not required. Actual pay may be adjusted based on experience and performance.
