Description
Seyfarth Shaw LLP seeks a highly qualifiedmid-level Corporate Associate with 3 -5 years of private fund or other alternative investmentexperience, with a preference for experience representing institutional investors (for example, governmental pension plans,ERISA pension plans, charitable and university foundations, and family offices)in their evaluation of and execution on investment opportunities. The successful candidate will have material experience with reviewing and structuring comingled private fundinvestments (e.g. limited partnership agreements, subscription agreements, andside letters), co-investmentopportunities, bespoke joint venture opportunities, secondaries transactions and general corporate governance matters.Candidates should have a high level of initiative and engagement, anentrepreneurial attitude, a willingness (andthe confidence) to engage directly with clients and opposing counsel, and a demonstrable commitment to becoming a partner. Werequire sophisticated analytical,communication and interpersonal skills. Must be admitted to the state bar oftheir resident office within six (6) months of hire. The Associate could be resident in any of our Atlanta,Boston, Chicago, Houston or Washington, D. C. offices.
