We are currently looking for a lawyer to join our employment law group for an in person full time position and invite you to review the job description. Duties and Responsibilities Review and drafting of opinions, contracts, policies, communications and other documents relating to employment, equity and workplace health and safety legislation; Review and drafting of opinions, policies and other documents related to privacy and confidentiality legislation in the field of employment law; Reviewing collective agreements, managing labour disputes and assisting with grievances; Preparing cases for litigation related to employment law; Conducting due diligence related to the employment field in the context of transactions; Willingness to work in related areas of practice; Any other related tasks required as part of your duties. Knowledge, Qualities & Experience Required Baccalaureate - Law; Member in good standing of the Barreau du Québec; Between four and six years of experience in employment law; Experience in labor law and collective bargaining is an asset; Ability to write and communicate in English/French to serve international customers and communicate with colleagues outside of Quebec; Highly-developed legal research skills; Advanced PC skills, particularly with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.); Strong understanding of the relevant legislation; High degree of accuracy and exceptional attention to detail; Excellent organizational and time management skills; Dedicated to providing service beyond expectation; Strong interpersonal skills with ability to listen effectively, and respond appropriately; Strong sense of teamwork and collegiality; Strong ability to manage several files simultaneously and achieve objectives with minimal supervision, good priority management, resourcefulness and autonomy.
