The Atlanta, GA office of Chamberlain Hrdlicka seeks an Associate with 4+ years of tax controversy experience. The ideal candidate will have practical experience with tax disputes (tax controversy, disputes, litigation, audits, and appeals), as well as experience with federal income and estate/gift tax issues. The ideal candidate will have law firm, accounting firm, IRS, Tax Court, and/or Department of Justice (Tax Division) experience. A degree in accounting, CPA license, or LL.M. in Tax is strongly preferred, but not required. Candidate must have excellent academic and employment credentials. Candidate has a demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively in oral and written form with strong attention to detail. Successful candidate has ability to work independently and efficiently, as well as within a team environment involving extensive collaboration with other attorneys, paralegals, and office staff. Must be admitted to practice in at least one state (Georgia is a plus).
