The Chicago office of Kaufman Dolowich, an AV-rated® firm designated one of the “Best Companies to Work For” among U.S. law firms by U.S. News & World Report, is seeking a senior insurance coverage attorney with 7 or more years of experience. The candidate would be joining a growing, dynamic firm with more than 200 attorneys nationwide. Experience in the areas of D&O, professional liability, cyber, financial institutions and/or fidelity and crime for its growing practice is preferred but not required. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Analyze insurance policies to identify coverage issues. Draft coverage opinions, reservations, and disclaimers. Handle insurance coverage litigation. EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE: Insurance coverage experience. Superior academic credentials from a top tier accredited law school. Member in good standing of the Illinois bar. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES: Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent legal research and analytical skills. Proficiency with Word, Excel, and other Microsoft Office products. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects. Ability to identify and resolve problems quickly.
