Associate - Commercial Dispute Resolution Kennedys is looking for an Associate to join our Commercial Dispute Resolution team in Hong Kong. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing, dynamic and global law firm. Team The Kennedys office in Hong Kong was established in 2000 and has now grown to 8 partners and over 41 lawyers, many of whom are multi-lingual. As one of the leading international firms in Hong Kong, our core practice areas include insurance and reinsurance, corporate insurance, corporate and commercial, litigation and dispute resolution, financial services and corporate regulatory and compliance, information technology, data privacy, cyber risks, healthcare including medical negligence and casualty. As part of the expansion of its Commercial Dispute Resolution Team, Kennedys is recruiting an associate with disputes resolution background. Key responsibilities Representing clients in commercial litigation and arbitration proceedings relating to contractual disputes, debt recovery and defence of claims by litigants in person Acting for professional service firms on contentious regulatory investigations Advising on coverage and claims handling relating to Contractors’ All Risks, property, life and health insurance policie Required experience 2-4 years’ post-qualification experience in Hong Kong. Qualified in Hong Kong with solid experience of commercial disputes and contentious regulatory work Excellent knowledge of procedural rules and regulations, and strong research skills Excellent command of English and Chinese Experience working both independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment Excellent organisation skills and strong interpersonal skills Please let us know if you require any additional support or adjustments to be made in order to submit your application to Kennedys. *where a level of experience is indicated, this is a guideline only and represents the amount of time we would usually expect a candidate to accumulate the requisite level of experience.
