Description
Seeking an attorney for our Trucking and Transportation and General Liability team to handle litigation cases from beginning to end. You will be a part of a defense litigation team, providing legal representation to Insurance carriers and their insureds, preparing legal pleadings, motions, statements, trial briefs and negotiating settlements. Additionally, you’ll work closely with clients and claims partners to prepare timely reports on litigation, ensuring all appropriate defenses are leveraged to reach positive outcomes. Other tasks will include analyzing written discovery, depositions, medical records and assessing the value of claims to determine risk exposure. Required Education & Professional Licensure: Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from an accredited law school Active license to practice law in Georgia Essential Job Requirements: Minimum 2 years as a practicing attorney Ability to work productively with autonomy as well as with a team in a fast-paced environment. 1+ years civil litigation experience Experience with insurance defense matters and billing guidelines. Admission and good standing with the State of GA Bar Strong organizational skills with the ability and desire to manage multiple priorities and caseload.
