We now have over 40 IST lawyers around thecountry, and we are attracting former in house lawyers, former partners infirms, and former associates who want the experience of working on excitingmatters but not the demands of a full time, partner track position. Candidates should have familiarity with and experience infederal court practice, as well as with the Equal Employment OpportunityCommission, Department of Labor, and other federal, state and local governmentadministrative agencies. Candidates should also have litigation experience,including drafting responsive pleadings, handling all aspects of the discoveryprocess, and drafting motions, including motions for summary judgment. Candidates should have the ability to handle a practice that includes handlingDOL Audits and EEOC charges, including defending investigations, preparingposition statements, defending clients in fact-finding conferences and on-sitevisits, representing clients in mediations and conciliations, and negotiatingsettlements. While there is no billable hours expectation, andyour schedule is up to you, we would like candidates to commit to being availableto work 1000 or more hours per hours a year depending on the specific casework.
