<div id="jobDescriptionText" class="jobsearch-jobDescriptionText jobsearch-JobComponent-description css-1x2lix0 eu4oa1w0"><div> About the job: <div> The Red Hat Legal team is seeking an experienced, motivated, and highly qualified attorney to support the anti-corruption and legal investigations functions within Red Hat’s Legal Compliance and Ethics Team. This position is expected to act as a subject matter expert on anti-corruption issues, counseling various business functions on minimizing risk and helping to run a number of globally consistent, world-class compliance processes. Additionally, this position will assist the Legal Investigations team in reviewing significant and complex allegations related to anti-corruption and related misconduct concerns. </div> <div></div> <div> <br> The position will require an ability to thrive in a fast-paced, challenging and constantly evolving environment. This lawyer will be a key member of Red Hat’s Legal Compliance and Ethics Team and will interact directly with business unit leaders and executives. The ideal candidate will be capable of managing multiple complex matters at the same time and providing nuanced advice and guidance to an entrepreneurial and rapidly expanding organization across geographies, cultures and functions. A passion for working collaboratively with others is critical to success. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain meaningful exposure to Red Hat's global business and will quickly become a strategic partner to the business and an integral member of the Legal team. </div> What you will do: <ul> <li>Provide strategic and tactical compliance counsel to internal clients in support of the Company’s anti-corruption program, including compliance with the U.S. FCPA and other applicable anti-corruption laws based on a thorough understanding of such laws and associated enforcement actions</li> <li> Support the Company’s third-party due diligence program by providing guidance regarding potential red flags and associated remediation procedures</li> <li> Support the Legal Investigations function, both by advising on anti-corruption and third-party compliance issues and, as workloads permit, conducting certain investigations into allegations or concerns of employee or third-party misconduct</li> <li> Promote the importance of a strong ethical culture and awareness of the Company’s ethics and compliance program, provide regular updates to senior management, and lead or support other ethics and compliance initiatives, as necessary</li> </ul> What you will bring: <ul> <li>J.D. plus admission to practice law in at least one jurisdiction</li> <li> A minimum of three years of anti-corruption compliance experience in a law firm or in-house, with an in-depth understanding of applicable anti-bribery laws and regulations, including the FCPA and U.K. Bribery Act, with preference given to candidates who have worked both in a major law firm and with an S&amp;P 500 company</li> <li> Significant experience implementing and managing anti-corruption compliance programs, including third-party due diligence, as well as conducting or advising on misconduct investigations</li> <li> Must be comfortable analyzing complex data, drawing logical conclusions, and implementing pragmatic risk-based solutions</li> <li> Excellent writing and interpersonal skills, with sound judgment and ability to influence and leverage others in a growing, global business</li> <li> Both foreign language skills and international legal experience are a plus</li> </ul> <div> #LI-REMOTE #LI-LS1 </div> </div></div>
