Partnering with business teams, you will provide a broad range of legal support to the Product Development and Manufacturing Solutions (PDMS) group. You will play a pivotal role in helping to deliver on the convergence of data and process across PDMS, enabling our customers to harvest new value from data, automation, and insights on the Fusion 360 platform and its various verticals. You will need to be curious and proactive, and have a good sense of humor, to thrive in this role.

Responsibilities
</div>
<ul>
<li>
<div>
Participate as a proactive business partner to leaders and teams and build a trusted advisor relationship. Engage with team members at all levels, including executives, product and program management, software engineers and business strategy
</div></li>
<li>
<div>
Learn and advise on the legal implications of new technologies, such as AI and ML, AR/VR, new business models, new strategies, and the ever-changing landscape of cloud services and infrastructure
</div></li>
<li>
<div>
Contribute to developing and implementing programs for policy and process improvements to enable teams to move faster and smarter
</div></li>
<li>
<div>
Support design, development and release of offerings by identifying and driving resolution of issues related to intellectual property, privacy, data security, data use, confidentiality, marketing, competition, regionalization, strategic partnerships and risk management
</div></li>
<li>
<div>
Draft, review and negotiate a variety of agreements critical to PDMS, including those relating to cloud service offerings, inbound licensing and SaaS services, developer programs, Autodesk open-source projects, and technology and strategic partnerships
</div></li>
<li>
<div>
Assist with M&A

Minimum Qualifications
</div>
<ul>
<li>
<div>
You have a JD degree from ABA accredited university and are a member in good standing of the California Bar
</div></li>
<li>
<div>
You have been providing legal support to software and cloud service businesses, either at a law firm or corporate legal department for a minimum of 3 years
</div></li>
<li>
<div>
Have expertise and interest in intellectual property, privacy and technology transactions
</div></li>
</ul>

<div></div> Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $139,100 and $225,060. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
