This role will be based in San Francisco and will report to the Senior Director, Assistant General Counsel, Product & Commercial. This is a unique opportunity to join a nimble team in a growing organization and work on challenging issues in an exciting, fast-paced environment. **What you’ll do:** * Draft, review and negotiate a variety of media- and digital services-related agreements, such as content licensing, development, production, and other agreements with content creators, agencies, and partners. * Provide strategic advice and support for our creators and content teams. * Partner with our engineering, product management, communications, and legal team to identify and manage legal issues and risks during all stages of our product and partnership development lifecycle, and embed with those teams to monitor updates and advise on legal implications as the product/partnership evolves. * Provide cross-functional leaders with pragmatic and strategic advice to minimize legal risks while advancing business goals and initiatives. **What we’re looking for:** * JD with 5+ years of experience negotiating content and media agreements, including 1+ year in-house, admission to California Bar preferred. * Experience counseling content teams at technology platforms. * Knowledge of IP law. * Knowledge of consumer protection and e-commerce law preferred. * Track record of business and solution oriented counseling in a fast-paced environment and under tight deadlines. * Proven ability to identify, prioritize and resolve issues quickly and independently. * Eagerness to learn with a strong desire to embrace an entrepreneurial, flexible, and collaborative working style. * Exceptional judgment and impeccable integrity with excellent communication skills. **Colorado based applicants only:** * The minimum and maximum salary for this position is $155,300 to $232,900 in Colorado; * This position is eligible for equity; and * Information regarding the culture at Pinterest and benefits available for this position can be found here. * _This compensation and benefits information is based on Pinterest’s good faith estimate as of the date of publication and may be modified in the future.
