Regulatory Associate – California

Hooper, Lundy & Bookman, P.C., a leading national healthcare law firm, is looking for a regulatory associate with 1-4 years of experience to join its Los Angeles, San Francisco, or San Diego office. The position will primarily focus on provider reimbursement issues, Medicare and Medicaid appeals, and audits and internal investigations and will generally support the firm’s robust and sophisticated regulatory and reimbursement practices. The ideal candidate will have outstanding academic credentials and superior writing, advocacy and communication skills, a strong interest in health law and policy, and the ability to handle multiple deadlines and collaborate effectively with attorneys across different offices. Candidates with judicial clerkship experience or other relevant government service are particularly solicited. This is a unique opportunity to have an active role on interesting, challenging cases and work at a specialized firm in consistently evolving areas of the law, handling a wide variety of matters in support of vital health care providers. The firm offers flexibility regarding remote work arrangements. The salary range for this position is $175,000 to $275,000 annually. Actual salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
