Job Description: Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation Associate | Washington, DC | #3313 Eversheds Sutherland (US) LLP is seeking an Associate with 2-6 years of experience to work with its Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation team within the Tax practice group in the DC, Atlanta, Chicago, or NY offices. We are looking to add a team member to help our clients navigate their most challenging employee benefits issues, including executive compensation, retirement plans, health and welfare plans, ERISA, and M&A. The Associate will join a supportive practice that provides advice on the full spectrum of matters within the employee benefits field for plan sponsors and plan service providers. Job Requirements: We are seeking candidates who possess: Two to six years of law firm experience. A strong background in complex issues of executive compensation, retirement plans, and health and welfare plans. Skills and knowledge related to various aspects of compliance with the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA). Experience providing advice for M&A transactions. Excellent writing and analytical skills. Strong academic records and impressive communication abilities. Self-motivation, a detail-oriented approach, the ability to assume immediate responsibility for matters in an active practice, confidence, and a strong interest in joining our team.
