We are seeking an experienced tax lawyer for our Los Angeles office. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years’ experience with strong income tax skills to support a high-end private client practice, including expertise in: IRC Subchapter K partnership tax IRC Subchapter S corporations Private foundations Exempt organizations The intersection of Income tax and estate planning, including defective grantor trusts, Subchapter J income taxation of trusts and estates, and family partnerships/LLCs Sophisticated estate/gift tax planning such as GRATs, QPRTs, SLATs, estate freezes Excellent analytical, writing and organizational skills are required; outstanding academic credentials and a Tax LLM are preferred. The expected annualized base salary range for this position is $300,000 - $600,000. Compensation will be commensurate with credentials and experience, as well as other job-related factors permitted by law.
