The qualified candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree (or expected to receive the same by June 2024). The successful candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a demonstrated ability to work independently and can handle working on multiple projects covering different aspects of the practice, has good time management skills and excellent attention to detail. This candidate must be highly organized, detail-oriented, a self-starter, and able to juggle multiple tasks. Responsibilities Coordinate and track projects while keeping the attorneys apprised of project statuses and deadlines; Provide support to attorneys for cause-related marketing, corporate governance and contract services, joint ventures, affiliations and mergers, certification programs, standard-setting and tort liability, and other overall support for charitable foundations; Assist with preparing clients for federal and nationwide compliance deadlines, preparing and filing various exemption applications for clients, and generally supporting the needs of nonprofit clients as it relates to federal and state level applications, filings, and charitable solicitations; Play a supporting role in these tasks, with the expectation that, over time, the professional will be able to lead aspects of these responsibilities; and Meet the firm’s billable hours requirement. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required prior to starting (expected May or June 2024); Knowledge of charitable solicitation rules, experience with compliance, and state licensure issues a plus, but not required; Strong proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Meticulous attention to detail; Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; Demonstrated history of working independently, taking initiative and problem-solving; Strong research abilities; The ability to assess and analyze risk; Effectively prioritize deadlines and tasks and manage multiple time-sensitive projects at once; Ability to handle sensitive matters and maintain confidentiality; and Committed to work outside of normal business hours, if needed, which may be extensive and include weekends or holidays during certain portions of the year.
