Description
The firm’s Employment and Benefits practice group seeks an associate with 3-5 years of experience for its management related employment practice in Sacramento. Assignments will include employer counseling, drafting of agreements and policies and litigation. Candidates should have significant law firm experience drafting policy documents, employee handbooks, executive contracts, severance agreements and similar employment documents. Candidates should also have experience counseling employers with respect to hiring, discipline, leaves of absence, handling disabilities, and harassment investigations. Distinguished academic record from a nationally recognized law school and exceptional research, writing and verbal communication skills are essential. Associate salaries are based on years of experience and bonus consideration is given for productivity and performance. Must be a current, active member of the California State Bar.
