<p><b> Major Responsibilities/Essential Functions: </b></p>
<ul>
<li><p>Drafts, negotiates and reviews real estate and leasing contracts and related documents including developing and maintaining form templates.</p></li>
<li><p> Advises on real estate and leasing related matters, partnering closely with real estate, construction and store design teams.</p></li>
<li><p> Reviews and approves the contract negotiation/drafting of others.</p></li>
<li><p> Manages and coordinates with outside legal counsel and counsel for landlords.</p></li>
<li><p> Develops legal department strategy and works to identify and create process efficiencies.</p></li>
<li><p> May assist in other commercial and transactional work as needed such as advertising/marketing review, intellectual property, contract review, and general commercial matters.</p></li>
<li><p> Performs other duties as assigned</p></li>

<p><b> Position Qualifications: </b></p>
<p>Education: Bachelor’s degree and Juris Doctor.</p>
<p> Years of Job-Related Experience: 2+ years’ experience as a practicing lawyer, in-house experience or law firm experience in commercial real estate leasing and/or contract drafting preferred.</p>
<p> Technical/Other Skills: Juris doctor admitted to practice law in Ohio or at least one other state, required.</p>
