<p> This role will support enterprise-wide corporate matters, including M&A, capital markets transactions, SEC filings, and cybersecurity. This position is expected to be a key business partner and to contribute to the success of the Company by combining both legal and business expertise and understanding Energizer’s operations and strategic goals.</p>
<p> This attorney will be expected to work effectively across internal legal and non-legal functions. The role requires a mature individual who can provide a top-down perspective while maintaining a sleeves-rolled-up willingness to take on a significant working role in the organization.</p> Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Advising Corporate Development and sponsoring business leaders on structuring and executing buy-side and sell-side transactions, including drafting and negotiating purchase agreements, disclosure schedules and ancillary agreements; all aspects of legal due diligence, including anti-corruption due diligence, contract review and product liability risk assessment; and coordinating Energizer’s legal and corporate specialists.</li>
<li>Providing legal advice and support to Finance and Accounting with respect to the Company's public disclosure documents, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K.</li>
<li>Serving as primary counsel to the Treasury function, with responsibility for capital markets transactions.</li>
<li>Serving as primary counsel for data privacy and cybersecurity.</li>

<li>Juris Doctorate</li>
<li>3-5 years of relevant experience at a large law firm and/or publicly traded company</li>
<li>Ability to make solid judgment calls under pressure</li>
<li>Strong leadership and negotiation skills</li>
<li>Exceptional project management skills</li>
<li>Ability to collaborate effectively with others in a matrix management structure</li>
<li>Ability to build positive relationships with senior management and other members of the legal team and to influence outcomes positively</li>
<li>Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and direction</li>
<li>Ability to resolve ambiguities and provide legal guidance in uncertain situations</li>
<li>Strategic thinking to drive efficiencies and provide business advice and solutions</li>
<li>Global mindset and ability to work virtually with business colleagues across the globe</li>
<li>Knowledge and understanding of domestic and global privacy laws and industry best practices related to data privacy</li>
<li>Knowledge and understanding of corporate structures and legal entities</li>
