THE DAY-TO-DAY: As a Real Estate Staff Attorney in our International practice, you’ll have the opportunity to work on interesting, challenging, and groundbreaking deals in collaboration with senior attorneys. You will work with one our premier retail clients on their lease deals for office, retail properties. This position will provide exposure not only to US real estate transactions, but also internationally, so it offers a great opportunity for candidates to expand their knowledge within the field. Commercial real estate experience outside of the US is not a requirement for this role. YOU HAVE: 5+ years of leasing, due diligence and industrial, office and/or retail property purchase and sales experience. Experience running a Real Estate deal from start to finish - including intake and document drafting as well as negotiation with opposing Counsel. Top law firm or in-house experience. (In-house real estate attorneys are encouraged to apply.) Superior project management skills and experience managing due diligence as part of an acquisition or lease. Excellent academic credentials. Stellar analytical skills; and strong verbal and written communication skills. In addition, admission to the state bar for the office in which you are applying is required.
