It starts with our people, which is why we need a highly motivated and experienced mid-level associate to join our Miami office’s Business and Commercial Disputes practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in complex commercial disputes, with a particular interest or experience in cross-border litigation and arbitration. You’ll be responsible for Represent clients in international commercial arbitration and investor-State disputes (ICSID, UNCITRAL, ICC, ICDR). Handle complex transnational litigation matters, including jurisdictional challenges, enforcement of foreign judgments/arbitral awards, and sovereign immunity issues. Draft pleadings, motions, and briefs in federal and state courts, as well as arbitral tribunals. Conduct legal research and analysis on international law, treaty interpretation, and procedural rules. Collaborate with global teams and coordinate multi-jurisdictional litigation strategies. Participate in client development and thought leadership initiatives, including publications and speaking engagements. Skills and experience required J.D. from a top-tier law school; strong academic credentials. Admission to the Florida Bar. 3–5 years of experience in commercial litigation, preferably with exposure to international arbitration. Prior work with international law firms or boutique arbitration practices. Familiarity with arbitration rules (ICSID, ICC, UNCITRAL, SIAC). Experience in Latin American legal systems or cross-border disputes involving Latin America. Experience working with sovereign entities or international organizations is highly desirable.
